ABOUT ABBAIN

Abbain is Africa's leading business intelligence system, dedicated to advancing confidence, trust, and transparency in intra-Africa trading, cross-border transactions, service provision, and general commercial activities. The platform aims to uphold high business standards and eliminate unethical practices throughout Africa.

Utilizing the power of artificial intelligence, Abbain provides commercial data, analytics, and insights for businesses and industries across the African continent. Its aim is to create a transparent marketplace where buyers and sellers from Africa and around the world can trade safely and securely.

Abbain offers a comprehensive range of products and services, including risk and financial analysis, operations and supply chain management, sales and marketing, and business research and insights. The platform is designed to serve merchants and buyers worldwide, providing access to a vast database that aims to include over 800 million business records in Africa, all accessible through its main product platform, abbain.com.

Our Team

Developed by Simon Kapenda to underpin confidence in intra-African commerce, our team of engineers, data scientists, and mission-driven innovators leverage unique datasets and advanced deep learning algorithms, pushing beyond traditional cross-border trading metrics to set new standards for business practices across Africa. At Abbain, we harness data to analyze and catalog trading behaviors in diverse cultural environments, ensuring that sellers deliver purchased goods to genuine buyers promptly. Our core focus is to turn this data into impactful programs and services that empower people across Africa to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Mission

To gather and organize information about companies and industries in Africa, making it accessible and valuable to buyers around the world.

Our Vision

To connect sellers with buyers and service providers with clients, while improving customer satisfaction across Africa. We aim to be a leading company that will drive and sustain economic growth on the continent for the next 200+ years. By the fiscal year 2037, our vision is to reach over 1.4 billion African consumers, help over 100 million businesses become profitable, and create more than 1 million direct jobs throughout Africa.

Our Values

  • Customers first, employees second, shareholders third.
  • Trust is everything.
  • Transparency is a must.
  • Evolve, adapt and lead.
  • Today's best performance is tomorrow's baseline.
  • If not now, when? If not me, who?
  • Live seriously, work happily.

Our Purpose

Every day, over 800 million people across Africa purchase goods and services from various sellers and service providers, often without access to a centralized system that offers the necessary data for making informed decisions at the point of purchase. This lack of structure creates opportunities for unethical practices that are unfortunately common in the marketplace.

Abbain leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to create innovative solutions that promote trust and transparency in the African marketplace. Our mission is to bridge the gap between buyers and sellers, as well as service providers and their clients, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction across the continent.

Abbain’s platform functions as a Centralized Autonomous System (CAS) for accrediting individual sellers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and large businesses throughout Africa. Through our main platform, Abbain.com, and our mobile application, we empower buyers with essential data to make informed decisions before purchasing goods or services anywhere in Africa.

Security

In addition to our ever growing portfolio, the company also operates a powerful e-commerce platform, Abbain, which enables third-party sellers from all over Africa to list and sell their products, new, refurbished or used items on a fixed-price to buyers from all over the world.

Abbain is powered by Abba App, in using Escrow Payment Protection to ensure that every seller on Abbain gets paid for goods sold to buyers and services provided to clients; and that every buyer receives the goods and services paid for through the Abbain, thereby, maintaining peace of mind in every business deal.

Government

Abbain operates independently and has no affiliation with any government or governmental agency. Businesses that join Abbain as accredited members and comply with its standards do so through self-regulation within the industry. To maintain impartiality, Abbain does not recommend or endorse any particular business, product, or service, although it continues to advocate for business interests.

Abbain, together with its sister companies, including Abba App and Abba Rail, have been intentionally developed to support the African continent in advancing the AfCFTA Agenda 2063 of the African Union. This agenda serves as Africa's strategic blueprint and master plan for transforming the continent into a leading global force in the future.

Revenue Model

Abbain is anchored on a diversified business model with its revenue generated from the Accreditation Subscriptions Products, Marketing Solutions and Sales Solutions.
